Simon Horst Preschern is a managing director at Grant Thornton. In addition to his work as a certified public accountant, he is also a Certified Sustainability Auditor (CSA) as of December 2024, making him one of the few experts in Austria and the EU who are specially trained to assess sustainability reports.

With many years of experience in auditing individual and consolidated financial statements - both in accordance with national law and IFRS - he advises medium-sized and large companies from a wide range of industries. His expertise in the healthcare sector is particularly noteworthy: As a recognized specialist in auditing the annual financial statements of hospitals and the entire healthcare sector, he enjoys the trust of his clients.

Before joining Grant Thornton, he gained extensive experience working for a Big4 Audit firm. He specializes in auditing and advising public companies, internationally operating industrial companies and energy supply companies (EVU).

Thanks to his wide-ranging expertise and the consistent use of modern auditing approaches, Simon Horst Preschern is a reliable partner and expert - successfully combining traditional auditing approaches with the challenges of a changing economic landscape.
