Marlene Hanschitz-Halikias is a Partner and Head of Audit at Grant Thornton Austria.
She is a certified public accountant, tax advisor and generally sworn and court-certified expert for, among other things, business valuation, corporate planning and accounting.
Marlene Hanschitz-Halikias has been advising companies for more than 13 years and during this time has managed business consulting projects as well as audits of annual and consolidated financial statements according to Austrian Commercial Code (UGB) besides IFRS and special audits.
As an expert in business and asset valuation, Marlene Hanschitz-Halikias will be regularly engaged in various valuation occasions, such as the purchase and sale of companies, arbitration opinions, valuation of intangible assets, impairment tests and settlements for minority shareholders, for example.
Her focus lies on digital transformation, payment services along with blockchain and crypto asset services. Her experience also includes many years in auditing the financial statements of major Austrian industrial companies.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Marlene Hanschitz-Halikias was involved in management consulting in the area of process consulting and in the area of internal control systems of international corporations. Marlene Hanschitz-Halikias is a graduate of the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
