Martin Schmidt has been advising companies in Austria and abroad for more than 20 years. Based on his longstanding experience in financial accounting, domestic and international tax matters, in recent years he laid his focus on transaction and corporate financial advisory services, including related valuation services.

He has been advising clients in the manufacturing industry (industry and trade) as well as in real estate and service companies for many years. His professional experience in various industries and specialist areas results in practical know-how and specialist expertise for both personal consulting and effective engagement management.

Martin Schmidt has been with our company since 1996. In between he worked as an independent consultant for medium-sized and listed companies in Austria and abroad. He has been a partner at Grant Thornton since 2010 and head of the Service Line Advisory since 2018.

Martin Schmidt graduated from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, where he also completed his postgraduate studies with a LL.M. in "International Tax Law". He is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).
